Just as excellent and exciting as the first part! So, random highlights:
-I've been repressing the thousand recent hints that Sullivan's a Bad Dude because it sounded too beautiful to be true, but now it has to come pass and it is glorious.
-I love that Deeks just makes instant friends with all the intimidating jailbirds Whiting sends his way, like it's the first day of summer camp. That is a very charming face indeed. I also love how fast his expression changes upon seeing Kensi.
-Kiss through the bars! Even if it was for the purpose of transferring a comm, it still looked pretty.
-I also liked that the comm allowed him to be an audio-only witness to her kidnapping. And can we talk about how deadly his voice gets when warning Whiting about things happening to her?
-Now let me just go over here and appreciate Deeks' very soothing/reassuring face & voice while trying to save the life of someone determined to ruin his because that is how good a person he is. Ahhhh, that's it. That's the magic. Now die, lady.
-So...I am starting to feel pretty strongly like if Whiting survives (and it would be so much smarter if you just killed your problem off), Deeks & Kensi are going to wind up getting hitched just for the benefit of spousal privilege. Honestly, if I didn't know better I'd say Whiting is trying to nudge them in that direction. She sure is giving them ample warning about her plans.
-The return of Lawyer Nell!
-Fun to see the various ways the crew wriggles out of custody.
-Except for Granger. Given the recent sad news that the actor died from cancer earlier this week, I feel like the odds are pretty good Granger does not fare any better.
-SABATINO, WHAT? Good moling. Althoug this all sounds kind of like I have to know what the plot of season 5 was, and I know you don't know how I was prior to this year, but I pretty much went SKIP on every episode Kensi and Deeks were apart, so.
-OK Hetty's master plan as actually a teensy bit awesome to watch. Especially her disappearing under whatever kind of bomb-proof material that blanket was like some kind of invisibility cloak.
-So excited to see this conclusion! (in about infinity years) Kind of hoping Kensi saves herself, but I will of course accept a rescue.
P.S. So I just saw the press release for next episode + the guest list and I'm like...
[speculating!]
Summary: AN NCIS AGENT DISCOVERS HE WAS BETRAYED BY SOMEONE HE LEAST EXPECTED, AND ANOTHER IS TORTURED BY THE MOLE, ON “NCIS: LOS ANGELES,” SUNDAY, FEB. 19
-
Guest Cast including: Elizabeth Bogush (Joelle Taylor)
-
Conclusion: HOLY SHIT PLEASE TELL ME JOELLE IS THAT PETTY. Ahhhh!
-
Also, not listed in the guest cast: whoever plays Detective Whiting, so I really hope that's as good as evidence in favor of her being dead as Sully Boy's Actor showing up on Dani's Instagram was proof that jackass would be back.
