I have managed to spend very nearly my entire day looking at real estate and abandoned-house websites, culminating in Old House Dreams, a site run by a hands-on admin, specifically dedicated to aggregating ads for historic houses for sale, often with a lot of lively discussion in the comments discussing the history of the house or what happened to it since the original posting. It's the website of my dreams, basically.

And now I've fallen into various Reddit posts who rehab/flip houses (and/or their contents) for a living, which I guess I can add to my list of "random intriguing careers that make me understand why people want to have careers instead of stagnant wage-paying jobs and free time."
