As I scanned my friends page on a Saturday morning and found there was STILL not one single mention of Thursday's CSI, I realized that my flist has unbalanced itself again, which means I need to go suck some more people into my vortex of insanity (er, hey there, fiery_twilight</lj>) make more friends for purposes of my reading amusement. To help me plan which neighborhoods to visit, I've created a monstrous-looking but relatively simple poll to see what I currently have in common with you lovely people.  Check all that apply:

Yes, the last one is designed merely for ease of stat-gathering.  And Doctor Who isn't on the list because I'm pretty sure I know which of you watch it...and I'm on my own timetable anyway.  And because it was Show #21, and I couldn't fit it in.  Which should make me worry about my TV obsession, yet does not.

I don't have time to watch my three shows in RL and I am trying to convice myself that CSI will be worth it. Also I have started watching Cold Case. I don't think I'll start watching it in real time but I like it as a distraction. What is it with me and Crime Dramas?

That's the thing about crime dramas. It starts with just one, and then they slowly suck you in, one after another until you can't remember a time before them. ;) Cold Case definitely works better as a distraction; 5 years and I still haven't gotten super-invested in it.

I've watched CSI (damnit I can't help myself...!) but haven't got anything to say about it ..... it was neither spectacularly good (a few seasons too late for any of that) nor spectacularly bad (so I can't poke fun at it). Maddy was a fun dynamic character, the whole cold thing was random and errrr..... the end.

I have WAT on my computer but I have no interest whatsoever to watch it. Should I bother? I really really will manage to let this show go one of these days.

AND GRISSOM'S DOG WAS IN IT. I actually liked the ep, but I'm always late to discussion, so I was surprised nobody even had a passing comment.

I haven't actually seen Without a Trace yet. *looks sheepish* I'm planning to watch it just to revel in my Jack hate, though, since the promos promised he'd be roughed up a bit (actually, the promos promised that this case "could be his last," but that was too much to hope for).

As I scanned my friends page on a Saturday morning and found there was STILL not one single mention of Thursday's CSI ... I thought the rest of the reason didn't start till next week or something. *scratches head in cold medicine-induced haze*

Nope, just about everything on CBS came back this week. But understandable, since at 8:00 my roommate and I were bouncing around waiting for The Office to start, and then got a block of reruns instead and went "...oh."

:-( Grrr. Now I'll have to watch it online, which will be even more grr. Interestingly enough, though, I'm pretty sure CBS around here didn't air it. Because when I flipped to the channel, something else was on. Huh.

I did Watch CSI last Thursday. Because nothing else was on. I admit, it was very enjoyable without Sara's presence. I haven't watched it in, probably, 3 seasons. I think the last time I watched it regularly was college because we used to have a regular CSI night.

I get bored with most crime dramas because while the fact that stories rarely carry over ep to ep is useful because it means you don't have to watch every episode to pick things up, they also become very boring.

And then there's ER, which, dear god, NBC, pull the plug.

Really? When I first started watching I couldn't get enough of watching them solve crimes, and now that I'm more invested in the characters, they have enough individual moments in every episode to bring it to life.

*pets ER* Aw, but it gets fun again if you give it a chance! Possibly my Neela love makes up for a lot of its imperfections, but I'll cling to County General as long as it's there.

Yeah, but I stopped liking the characters a while ago so I stopped caring about them.

I liked Neela and I liked Neela and Ray but like it always does ER screwed up a pairing I liked. The only pairing they didn't screw over was Doug and Carol.
