Just caught a slightly new promo for Secret Life of the American Teenager (...you know what, that DOES need shortening), with the following exchange:
Amy: (crying incredibly bad fake tears) What am I gonna do?
Ben: *looks at her with Utmost Seriousness*  Let me be your prince.

BWAAAAAA HA HA HA., SHOW, I LOVE YOUR AWFULNESS.  No really, I love it.  Or at least I love Ben.  Come early 20's, he is going to be the world's most perfect boyfriend.  For now, it's just such fun watching him try to behave ten years older than he is.  He has no idea what he's doing, learning through trial and error from scratch, but he's so delightfully, endearingly determined!  As sappy and kind of dumb as his overly sentimental nonsense is, I can't help grinning at it.

But show, you're just so bad in so many other ways.  *wipes tears of laughter*
In an unrelated note, backtrack about a month on So You Think You Can Dance...why didn't anybody tell me Kourtni was from Minnesota?!  Forest Lake!  That's practically a stone's throw from home!  I would have cheered a lot harder for her!
EDIT: Just read my hundredth book of the school year!  Can now breathe easily.  *relaxes* It's always just a teensy bit stressful in summer until I clear that minimum; even with ample time remaining, you always wonder what if your motivation dies unexpectedly, or something else comes up, and you fall short?

Possibly will set less rigid reading goals for self after graduation.

That is too long a title for a TV show. I guess you're saying it's become something of a guilty pleasure for you?

Well, it would be if I actually watched it. I've only seen the one episode still, and cannot contemplate the horror of sitting through another one. It's just that you can pretty much see all major events in the plot from the generalized promos.

What I have done, however, is started hitting up YouTube trying to find the cute clips. I get bored and frustrated easily, but I'm determined to eventually see every minute of screen time Amy and Ben have together.

The rest of it I enjoy hearing about purely so I can mock it.
