Ausiello spoilers!

*madly dodges all the news from Grey's Anatomy*  *forgets to dodge House*  Dammit!  I've been doing so well on that one...oh, here's something I can read.

[Re: Angela/Roxie and ending] The new Muslim intern I mentioned above makes Angela a soothing mix tape after her heart is broken by Roxie. Coincidentally, Hart Hanson tells me that the Angela/Hodgins love story is not over. "We're not done with them," he says. "But they have some obstacles to overcome."

Really? Are you sure? Because I'm pretty sure I'm done with them. You will have to be incredibly impressive in your Angela-fixing efforts to make me stomach the idea of her with him again, and I can't guarantee I'm not going to be in a constant state of shuddering thinking about her previously having been with Roxie, ew, that is a stain that may not wash off.

Also, WTF is going on at NBC? Not that I'm strictly opposed to them magically finding a way to keep delivering Leno to me; I'm totally cool with that because I'm still cranky Conan is moving up in the world. But what is this nonsense I just started hearing about Law & Order: SVU possibly ending this year? That...makes me sad. I've had a nice few years of coasting along in a world where venerable crime dramas are untouchable where axes are concerned, and it's very jolting to be confronted with something otherwise.

In totally unrelated news, my PowerPoint is going terribly, because I keep getting distracted by wanting to work on the paper instead, and then being like "NO!  MUST CONDENSE.  Paper = Friday.  Presentation = in 12 hours."  And then I don't really...accomplish much of anything.  Which is bad, because I have like 3 times as much work due Thursday, and so I need to be done with this, now-ish.  I mean, I know the basic outline of what I want to say, but I can't seem to force myself to condense it into slide format and/or translate it from paper-speak to presentation-speak.

Ah, yes, dreaded PowerPoint presentations. I was never very good at putting those together. *is not technologically savvy when it comes to graphics*

Oh, I know. I just pick one of the automatic templates, type up text, and try to find a relevant picture on Google for every couple of slides. This latter part always takes way longer than it should.

I loved doing PowerPoint presentations. I was the master. It helped that I went to a school with a computer and projector in every classroom so if I had to do a presentation, I used PowerPoint. It was also useful when you forget you have a presentation so you have a bunch of Honors kids gathered around the classroom computer working up a presentation in 5 minutes.
