Feelings explosions! (mini preview version)

1. Community, please explain to me why I watched more of the gang in their underwear than I did of the puppy parade. PUPPY.  PARADE. PUPPY. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR PRIORITIES.

2. I feel that Grey's could use punching to liven it up more regularly. Particularly of that character. Also: FLAILY SQUEE that the promo pictures, which were much more interesting and completely different than the TV promo, delivered on their promise.

3. Watching The Mentalist tonight was a very wise decision. Gosh, he is so much more likable this way. Can't we keep him handcuffed in a cellar and shock him all the time? ...I feel like I just caused a super creepy kink!fic to exist. Sorry, internet.

4. I am not kidding about this, "Love and Other Drugs" needs to exist on DVD yesterday so that parts of it will be on YouTube and please please please can I just have sad-eyed Jake + tearful/super-pretty-haired Anne already.

5. Syndication just aired last season's premiere of HIMYM. Following the principle of "everything about this show is better in reruns," where I previously wrote about 2 sentences to review it and was kind of apathetic, this time I shrieked my head off with laughter. The dull parts got good, and the good parts just got better. NOT GOOD ENOUGH!  *WHIP* (also: BARNEY/ROBIN, holy cow, I do not remember loving them so fiercely)

See people have tons of bad feelings about Barney/Robin from last season because of how they ended but right up until the writers decided they had personality transplants and needed to break up they were actually good! I thought so last season and when I watch the reruns now. Which is what makes the break up episode all the more ridiculous. These writers should've been able to find a way to write Barney and Robin together and still have them be themselves. They do it with Marshall and Lily quite well. Barney's womanizing is not all there is to Barney and while it's funny they could've had a gold mine with him in a relationship.

Sorry. I get very deep thoughts about Barney/Robin and what went wrong last season and I entirely blame the writers for being idiots.

No, no, I welcome it. I still suffer from the bitter memory syndrome, and it's nice to a) be reminded that they were fantastic until their utterly random breakup, and b) freshen the memory of the writers' inability to keep writing their characters.

I actually watched a little bit of "Grey's Anatomy" last night at the gym. I didn't watch the whole episode because I knew I'd be totally out of the loop.

Barney/Robin is definitely growing on me. I've almost seen half of S5 by now, but I need to see the premiere in its entirety. I only caught the end of it, and it didn't make a lot of sense. Now, though, I've seen "The Leap", so I think that will help me approach "Definitions" better.

Oh, yes, Definitions is infinity times better than The Leap! Which you should take with a grain of salt as I have only seen the latter once. Look forward to seeing it from the beginning.
