TQC posted this interesting question, so I shall pose it to you: What movies or TV series can you watch over and over again and still find them enjoyable?

My answers:

Movies: Pirates of the Caribbean, The Mummy Returns, Never Been Kissed
TV: Friends, Scrubs, How I Met Your Mother, Seinfeld, The Simpsons, The Office, The Class, That 70s Show, The Middle, Glee, X-Files, ER.

The funny thing is that I almost never re-watch dramas in their entirety. I reread my drama reviews a lot, but actually watching whole episodes? Almost never. Too long, too much plot; I just wanna skip around to the good bits. I know this because even when I run across reruns of things like CSI or Grey's Anatomy on Saturday nights, my attention starts to drift. Castle might fall into the rewatchable category at some point, but only seasons 1 or 5-onwards. I'm now allergic to their UST much the same way I'm allergic to season 3 of The Office.

In other news, I am grumpy that Melissa Benoist is headlining a new pilot AND it's on CBS, but it's a superhero project and therefore I will not touch it with a ten-foot pole. Not even if you hire Laura Benanti to be her mom and Chyler Leigh to be her sister.

So can I assume that you aren't watching Grant Gustin's current show as well? :)

I saw the first photos of Benoist in costume yesterday. The producers made a good casting choice; she really looks the part.

Yeah...you're right, not so much. I'm glad Supergirl's look works for someone who can appreciate it, though.

Would you watch if there was a Supergirl/Flash crossover?

Seinfeld, HIMYM, The Office, & Friends are the shows I could watch on repeat all the time & not get old. Same with Buffy & Gilmore Girls.

I read that! Glad she found work after Glee but yeah it doesn't interest me!

I admire people who love Gilmore Girls to that degree. I missed the boat on everything WB, and while I still hope to watch GG someday, I don't know if it will have the same kind of impact watching it later on. But it looks like a really wonderful show.

It really was a wonderful show. My husband watched it over Xmas break when I was doing a rewatch & he loved it! He thought it was a funny show (but he wouldn't admit that out loud lol).

Aww! Same here, part of it is that I've been back on another project and working A Whole Bunch, so I've regrettably turned to mindless scrolling because words are hard. But I hope to get back into…

RS! I've missed you! Glad to see you back on TTT.

I haven't read any of these books, but I do want to read the Holderness ones. Their videos are so fun. We've been laughing lately over the STD…

If you don't like Jonah don't bother reading book 2. He is still kind of annoying if I recall correctly. I guess it depends on what made you want to kill Jonah as to if you'd like book 3. It can…

Just Burying Water, the 2nd in that quartet (Becoming Rain), and The Simple Wild. The last of which WOULD have been 5 stars if not for my wanting to murder Jonah every minute. I'm very glad if the…
