I know I did this to myself, I knew this would happen, AND YET.

Following the hours of restless, anxious avoidance rampaging on the internet, knowing I absolutely could not sleep or I would never wake up in time to finish...

4:40-8:10 AM: Nonstop work. (also, I might have actually started at 3:40. I bumped my clock up an hour and I can't remember if 4:40 was the real or adjusted time)
8:25-10:45: Keel over like a dead bug under the covers in sheer EXHAUSTION.
11-1:30: Nonstop work
--insert 45 minute break to reel in pain and exhaustion, at least 30 minutes of which involved still sitting here in this chair--
2:15-5:00: Nonstop work.

Work I still haven't finished after at least 8.75 hours: 5 (28%) of the assignments that were due at 1:30 and which I figure will take an average of 20-30 minutes EACH, plus 1 and possibly 2 contacts, plus 2 deduction emails I have been putting off writing because omg long and hard.

Also I have not even started editing all the stuff due tomorrow, and I have to make 3 short phone calls tomorrow ASAP to cancel tours I had to set up as part of the assignments. I tried to cancel them via answering machine this afternoon, but apparently these business don't believe in voicemail. What I'd like to do right now is fall asleep immediately and get up at 5 AM, but I am unfortunately just awake enough that I don't know if resting now will do anything, and just incoherent enough in the brain-processing center that I can't make any editing progress.
